This last Saturday, some good friends, a local game store and I all participated in Extra Life, a charity event that encourages a marathon of gaming (video and tabletop) to raise money for local children’s’ hospitals. Our team, Ardillas de los Muertos (Spanish for “Squirrels of the Dead,” since the marathon was concurrent with Dia de los Muertos), raised just over $1,700 for Children’s Hospital Central California in Madera, CA. Many games were played, much food was consumed, and good times were had all around.
One of our team members, Joe Aguayo, created a time-lapse video of the entire 25 hour event, condensing all the action down to a blazing five minutes. Think you can spot all the different games that we played?
